It was just easier for me to learn the standalone mode first, then the SPI mode with the assembly programming of the SX I can now retire for the night and finally sleep – instead of counting bits and bytes! I like to see the bits — every one of them! Well it’s not the end of the world writing your own driver but how can they say it’s SPI interface if isdd1740 not one of the 4 known SPI modes?
