I agree that as you describe them, some rlsshalde the views here have been shown as invalid. I think a lot if what he wrote is autobiographical. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. What a glorious existence to live along the perimeter of one’s family, to have sanctuary for all artistic endeavours and the freedom to saunter back and forth between worlds as one chooses.

And not only for himself. Hesse is one of my favorite authors of all time.

Rosshalde by Hermann Hesse

The only joy in his life is his little boy. Pierre embodies the kind of incorruptible desires and thought patterns which Veraguth can only yearn for in his own nostalgic perspective. Only when tragedy strikes they are able to break the spell of mutual pain, and move on to try to start a new life. Great review makes me curious and eager to read the roszhalde. We are left with him resolving to learn from the mistakes of his present life, making sure not to repeat them in the next one.

The reader realises early on that there can be no winners in such a contest. But I had to ignore his views on men, women, artists, and marriage and just rossalde the amazing descriptions, the interior life of his protagonist and the terribly tragic story.

But what does he offer his son? There is also a Hermann Hesse prize associated with the city of Karlsruhe, Germany. He does not have to go anywhere.
